Who we are
OzUCuisine, Özyeğin University's food club since 2013: who we are, what we do, how to join.
Since 2013
OzUCuisine was founded in 2013 by Özyeğin University's gastronomy and culinary arts students. Today we are 1,500 members.
Our aim is to introduce and share Turkish cuisine first, then every food culture.
What we do
Workshops, gastroshows, stand days, trips and markets. Last term's menu is below.
For events with limited places we use a lottery or an application form: the 16 places at the Paw Treats workshop went by lottery, the 60 places at the sushi gastroshow by application.
Board and teams
In October 2026 we met everyone who wanted to join the organisation, sponsorship and social media-design teams at our Meet & Greet. Any department is welcome.

How we work with sponsors
We have worked with brands from a pastry shop to a knife maker, from yoghurt to cold coffee. Our Christmas Market in December 2025 had stands from 8 brands. Red Bull has been with us since October.
Every sponsor item on this site carries a "Promotion" or "Advertisement" label and the brand's name. We do not work with alcohol, tobacco or e-cigarette brands.

Do I need to study gastronomy to join a team?
No. The organisation, sponsorship and social media-design teams are open to students from any department.
How do I get a place at an event with limited places?
Through the lottery or application form in the announcement. The 16 places at Paw Treats went by lottery, the 60 places at the sushi gastroshow by application.
Where do I follow the events?
We post every poster on Instagram (@ozucuisine) and we have a WhatsApp community. Upcoming and past events are on this site's Events page.
